We’re playing cupid at Create Gift Love and we’re looking for people to get involved in our #woodyou campaign. As a manufacturer of high quality, ethically sourced, personalised wooden gifts - Valentine’s Day is one of our busiest times of year. However, we’ve decided to go all out in 2016 and offer FREE inspiration for those of you looking for a novel way to propose to the love of your life.
Statistically, December through to February are the most popular months to pop the question as mentioned in this interesting feature on Sainsbury's Bank Money Matters website. Also, 2016 is a leap year so if there are any ladies out there wanting to propose to their partners then February 29th is your day.
We have therefore decided to give away 20 x stunning, wooden magnets with the text ‘Will you marry me?’ and ‘Wood you?’ to anyone who is thinking of proposing. The magnets are perfect for placing on the fridge as a surprise before breakfast or perhaps placing on the car door as your partner goes to work. Being magnetic, the magnet can be placed anywhere!
All you need to do is contact us at hello@creategiftlove.co.uk, tell us what you plan on doing and we will send you a magnet of your choice. All we ask is that you tell us about the outcome of your story and if possible, use the hashtag #woodyou on social media with a photo capturing the special moment. For the most romantic story we will be giving away a love themed hamper to celebrate! So what are you waiting for?!
Hi Amanda
What a beautiful love story! We’d love to hear other stories like this…let us help you make your proposal extra special by telling us about your idea for ‘popping the question’. Thanks, Create Gift Love x

Oh I would love to win #woodyou
This year has been amazing for us as a couple. We had our little girl Autumn-Lily on 20th December and she has totally blown us away! My partner has totally blown me away with the amount of support he has given me and has really shown he is a keeper! I am so in love with him and this is why I have decided to pop the question! After all it is a leap year! :) I have bought him two watches and a ring.. The ring is a very simple titanium ring and will suit him down to a tee! He loves watches so I decided I would get one of them engraved with our initials and the date we got together:) I have also got a valentines hamper with lots of chocolates and candles and also a chocolate Lindor bouquet :) I have ordered a card which says on the front wil you marry me Mr Green and also a print of a map which has a heart on where we first met:) I’m sure I will add more hehe im super excited and can’t wait to do it!! It’s all coming together in my head! Xxx
