Once you have chosen your handwriting gift, simply upload your handwriting file directly on the product page using the file upload function, then complete checkout as normal. Ideally, we need a high-quality scan of your handwriting, but if you do not have a scanner, a clear, well-lit photo works as well. Please make sure the photographs are taken from above, not in shadow, and on a flat surface without creases in the paper.

Yes, absolutely - if you're ordering your handwriting keepsake as a memorial gift or want to recreate a greeting card, recipe or letter from long ago, we can use handwriting samples you already have. All we need is a clear scan or photograph of the sample in order to replicate it. We can also pull particular words or phrases from a longer piece of text when required - just send us a message after ordering to let us know what you would like to include.

It's important that the scan or photograph you provide is clear, crisp and well-lit so that we can create the artwork for your handwriting gift. We've included a handy guide on the product pages to give you a visual reference. If you're unsure whether your sample is suitable, send us an email with the photo attached, and we'll be happy to advise.

We aren’t able to offer design proofs for customer approval due to the volume of orders our small team processes each day; however, your handwriting will be edited by our experienced artworkers before engraving to ensure it works well on the product you've chosen. If there are any issues with the handwriting you submitted, we will be in touch to discuss options before proceeding with production.
