With an extensive selection of colours, properties and capabilities, it's not surprising that leather is one of our favourite materials to work with at Create Gift Love. It's versatile, durable and looks pretty fantastic.
Being sustainable and responsible in the sourcing of our materials has always been hugely important to us and this goes for all aspects of our business. The leather we use is a bi-product of the food and drink industry and we source it from within the UK wherever possible to minimise our environmental impact. We also do our best to minimise waste by using off-cuts and leather scraps from larger products to make things like keyrings and clasp straps, so nothing gets thrown away.
Leather is a natural material which means it retains character in the form of individual markings and scars, making each of our leather items as unique as its owner. We love the variation in the material because it means that every product really is one-of-a-kind.
After years of using traditional tan brown leather to make our personalised gifts and accessories (which we still love!), we've been so excited to introduce a range of coloured leather products over the last year. It look a lot of consideration, debate over swatches and a whole range of test samples to get it right and we're so pleased with the final range.
There's blacks, greys and blues to cater for most subdued tastes, vibrant brights like our popular red, and trendy pastels such as blush pink and brand new mint leather (heart eyes!) which means there's something for everyone.
