Our Workshop Process
At Create Gift Love we are champions of British manufacture and take pride in the fact that all our products are designed and made under one roof in our UK workshop from start to finish. This give us complete control over every step of manufacture and we oversee the whole process. Working in this way means we can involve clients in every level, from design to material sourcing to final details of production. We welcome local clients to visit us in the workshop to discuss ideas and take a look at our work in action.
We only stock raw materials and everything is made to order in house which means we have no MOQs and can typically fulfil short lead times. We primarily work with wood and leather but also have experience working with metals and acrylics – our workshop capabilities mean that we have the setup to work with a whole section of materials. We can source specific materials and custom colour matching for your project if necessary to complement brand guidelines and event colour schemes.
Sustainability has always been at the heart of our business and we make it a priority in everything we do, from materials to waste to production methods. All our materials are responsibly sourced and we have good working relationships with local companies and suppliers which means we are able to trace every step of the supply chain. Our wood is sourced from an FSC certified supplier and we use sustainably sourced vegetable tanned leather which is produced using low energy traditional natural methods. Our workshop is powered by renewable energy and we work to minimise waste by making only required quantities and being conscious with material usage. We believe in being a responsible manufacture and love to work with brands whose core values align with our own.
Our purpose built workshop is equipped with laser cutters for cutting and engraving, high quality full colour UV printers, a wood workshop with CNC machining capabilities and dedicated leather work area for leather cutting, stitching and branding. We have a team of trained craftspeople working in each area with a wealth of skills and knowledge in what they do. Learn more by exploring our workshop pages for a virtual tour.
