My Mum is such a great Mother & Grandmother

She’s always loved her Granddaughter since the day she was born

She does this unreservedly even though my daughter doesn’t fit the norm

She helps her with her reading, her writing & her speech

She helps her build sandcastles when they’re playing on the beach

Some people look at her Granddaughter & she sees them with their frowns

But she knows her Grandmother loves her, she know that she has Downs

My mum has proved how amazing she is in what has been a horrific year so far.
My dad was rushed to hospital with a chest infection on new years eve and unexpectedly died 12 days later. At the time I was 37 weeks pregnant. My mum was amazing and held it together while we arranged his funeral. I went into labour 3 days after the funeral and, despite being exhausted and grieving herself, Mum helped me our by looking after my other children at short notice late at night and being on hand for anything. My own family wouldn’t have survived the last 6 weeks without my mum and she really deserves a treat

My mum is literally a Supermum…not only does she have 8 children (ages 13-30) she also has 3 grandsons and a grandchild on the way.
To each of us siblings she has cared, taught, loved, laughed and protected. She has never shied away from discussing real issues with us open and honestly to best prepare us for the world awaiting us and has always encourages a wonderfully open environment where we know we are safe no matter what path we choose in life.
Like I said, she is a Supermum and I love her dearly. This gift would be a wonderful and well deserved treat

My mum’s amazing she brought me up single handedly from when I was 6. My dad died of cancer, she’s never brought another man into my life and when I was 15 she bought a business to support us. She deserves to know how special she is.

My mother truly is a Star,
Who would love this box of treats
She helps us out were ever we are
And deserves more the Spar’s own sweets.
I am sadly rather a forgetful lemon
And don’t treat her like I oughta’
So Tony And Emily pity Helen,
    For having a useless daughter!

My mum is so special, she’s the best grandmother to our daughter and finds it hard being 6 hours away from us. I wish we lived closer so we could spend every Mother’s Day and ever occasion with her…. Never mind just see her every week for a cup of tea and cake.. She sends us lots of presents and always wants the best for us. Growing up she was so fun and threw the best parties, we had an perfect childhood and she, and my, dad were and are always there for us. They’d be in the car on the way here in an instant if we needed them. Oh and she LOVES tea :-)

My Mum is an amazing person who has never stopped supporting me through all my ups and downs. She is my best friend and always there when I need her. She also takes my friends in her own and at 30 I still would be lost without being able to call her everyday. She has shown me so much love and taught me that being caring and passionate will always lead you on the right path. I love my mum and would love to win this for her

My mum is special because she made every day fun while teaching me and my sisters all we needed to know to become the best we could possibly be! I now try to be as good a mum to my own children and would be proud to be half as amazing as her! I love watching my children giggle at the same jokes she told me at their age and enjoy the same cuddles and stories. We are blessed to have her.

My mum is special as is truly one of a kind. She has been an enormous help with my daughter who was born on the 4th Jan (her first grandchild) Talula spent some time in Special care and my mum was an amazing support to me and my husband bringing home cooked meals to us everyday and checking we had everything we needed. Once we were home we had a sickness bug and again my mum was fantastic staying on the sofa (at nearly 60 years old) to care for my daughter when me and my husband couldn’t. My mum always puts her family needs before her own and it would be lovely for her to win this for her first Mother’s Day as a Nanna! Thank you

All mums are special and all go above and beyond to help us.. We will always be their babies. I’ve had two children in the last 2 years and it’s been exhausting and very testing. My mum has been simply amazing in helping me through those newborn stages. Cooking, cleaning, shopping and looking after my toddler so I can get some sleep with the baby. I don’t know how I would have gotten through the early days without her xx
